Heartfelt & Homemade

We haven't written a lot lately because we've been very busy farming. We have almost 2500 organic heirloom tomato plants under the lights, are putting the finishing touches on our 14 x 40' plant conservatory, have more than 6 dump truckloads of organic compost from a local dairy sitting in our field and, well, you get the picture. It's spring, y'all. We're busy. We've spent all winter training for it.
The end result--if everything goes well--will be more than 20 varieties of organic heirloom tomatoes for local chefs, caterers, and culinary pros who will then use those tasty tomatoes on burgers like the one pictured above.
A great burger, like the perfect omelette or chicken quenelle, is an art form. The end might be greater than the sum of its parts but, if the individual parts aren't all that good, what are the prospects for a truly stellar outcome?
Deliciousness, as any connoisseur of great food and drink will attest, takes the time it takes. That's why we are meticulous in our approach. We grow our plants from locally sourced organic seeds. We stick to heirloom varieties. We spend hours grooming and tending our heirlooms. We deliver within 24 hours of harvest.

In the meantime, cheers.
